SMC Marine Services Pte Ltd was established in 1999 to undertake tug/barge services within the Asian region and principally in Indonesia. The company, which was originally established with 2 vessels, has grown to manage a fleet of 24 vessels comprising 12 sets of tugs and barges of different capacities.
 
We have 12 sets of tugs and barges with varying engine power capacity ranging from 800 H.P. to 2060 H.P. All our barges are constructed with side boards and utilized principally for the carriage of coal, clinkers and granite. Our vessels ply on both spot voyage charters as well as time charter basis.
